Glosses

Glosses illuminate your floor

Be it matte or semi-gloss, a floor gloss serves the same purpose as the gloss in paint: it determines the level of light that reflects off the surface.

  • We offer 4 types of glosses based on the level of light reflection desired.

To help orient you:

At 100°, you’d be able to see your reflection in the floor just as well as in a mirror, but that’s certainly not the goal.

1. Semi-gloss

  • 60° light reflection.
  • Nuances in wood are clearly visible.

2. Satin

  • 30° light reflection.
  • Lightly transparent and silky.

3. Matte

  • 10° light reflection.
  • No sheen.
  • Masks most signs of wear.

4. Matte brushed

  • Textured effect.
  • 10° light reflection.
  • No sheen.
  • Masks most signs of wear.

Have you decided on a gloss? Then it’s time for step five.
